Camps & Meets: Indoor High Jump CLUB 2020-21
Indoor High Jump CLUB 2020-21
Our 5th year of safely and successfully coaching High Jump in the off-season. Contact Steve if you have questions --steve.white.fda@gmail.com --(763) 458-2932
Register for Event- Once coach, coaching five athletes max per session, ensures each jumper's individual needs are met
- We do not do one-size-fits-all instruction on drills or on HJ
- We provide one-on-one instruction on drills as each individual needs.
- Every jumper must be a current USATF member
- Athletes must be members of Flight Deck Athletics club (USATF club number 30-338)...OR...athletes must be a member of a different USATF club and secure club insurance (contact Steve for details)
- Sundays, November 15, 2020 through March 21, 2021
- Sessions may be cancelled for a number of reasons (COVID, snow, other)
- In the event that Flight Deck cancels a session, full refunds will be issued
- Participants who withdraw from a session 48h or more ahead of the scheduled time will receive a full refund
- Cancelations within 48h will only be refunded if another vaulter takes the spot.
- bring water
- bring a granola bar, or similar snack, to eat at the conclusion of practice
- bring running shoes (suitable for jogging)
- bring jumping/racing spikes
- arrive 15 minutes early to complete a good warm-up and stretch prior to the camp beginning
- follow all coaching instructions
- Bring their coach
- Have teammates sign up (and carpool)

Kevin Netzer
UofM Gopher High Jump Coach
University of Minnesota Men’s High Jump Coach 3rd year, former coach at Champlin Park High School for 4 years, Medford Middle School and High School for 1 year, Minnetonka Middle School 2 years. Kevin began high jumping in 9th grade. While at Rib Lake High School (WI) Kevin was a 3 time state qualifier in the high jump. Kevin placed 7th as a Sophomore, 2nd as a Junior , and was the state champion as a senior. Kevin had a PR jump of 6’10 ¼” in high school. Kevin earned All-American honors twice while at the University of Minnesota. Kevin was also a 4 time Big Ten champion in the high jump. Kevin had a PR of 7’ 3 ¼” and qualified for the US Olympic trials in 2006. During Kevin’s first year of coaching at the UofM all of the high jumpers (including multi-event athletes) set PR’s in the high jump. In Kevin’s first 2 years he coached one Big Ten champion, two Big Ten runners-up, two 3rd place finishes and an All-American in the high jump. -
Nick Bachinski
UofM Gopher High Jump Alum
Nick was the 2012 MSHSL State Meet Runner-Up. In 2016 Nick placed 3rd Indoor and 5th outdoor at the Big 10 championships. Nick has a current PR of 7'0.5". He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017. He and his wife Madeline currently live in Burnsville.
